“When I came, the landscape was lifeless. I have put my soul into the soil and Mother Nature is now showing me her appreciation with the gifts of feathers. The first time I spotted an Eastern Spinebill, my eyes could not keep up - busily flitting between branches of the Correa, trying to get the perfect angle to feast on the nectar of the flowers. Once still, I saw its beauty. It was truly love at first sight.”
